* Supports general computation and runs on the Substrate framework, allowing compatibility with Vine-native dApps.
* Enables dApps to expand their ecosystem using Substrate-based parallel chains.

## **Cons**

* Reduces decentralization, as parallel chains trade off trustlessness for scalability.
* Uses a similar consensus mechanism but lacks Peer’s security guarantees.
* Requires higher trust assumptions—a malicious quorum of validators could commit fraud.
